Driving whilst disqualified

Cunninghams Draycott Browne Solicitors have experience with drivers on a Nationwide basis in all aspects of motoring offences.  Driving whilst disqualified is viewed very seriously by the Court.  There may be “special reasons” as to why you were driving your vehicle at the time you were disqualified.  We will take you through and discuss the possibility of you pleading not guilty to driving whilst disqualified, such as the defence of duress, or we will try and persuade the Court not to extend any period of disqualification due to “special reasons”.  You may have driven whilst disqualified because of a true emergency.

Punishment for Driving whilst Disqualified

You can receive 6 penalty points endorsed on your licence, discretionary disqualification and a fine of up to £5,000 for driving whilst disqualified.  Prison sentences are common for people found guilty of driving whilst disqualified.

If you have been charged with driving without a licence or driving whilst disqualified, contact Cunninghams Draycott Browne Solicitors today on 0800 32 888 46, or fill in our online form.  We are here to help you get the best possible outcome.
