Driving Without Insurance – Case Discontinued before getting to Court

Tom recently acted on behalf of Mr H in relation to an allegation of driving without insurance before Ashford Magistrates Court in Kent. Tom was able to enter into negotiation with the Crown on Mr H’s behalf as he was unable to pay for our services to represent him in Court. For a much reduced fee, we were able to persuade the Crown to discontinue the case against Mr H without the matter ever being called before the Court. A defendants’ costs order was awarded which will entitle Mr H to a full or partial reimbursement of the fees paid.
