Successful Appeal

Mr H had been convicted by the Magistrates at St Albans, Hertfordshire for failing to furnish information. Tom represented him in respect of his appeal to the Crown Court which was ultimately successful. It was argued that the Crown were unable to prove that the original notice of intended prosecution was received. This was accepted by the appeal Judge. A defendants’ costs order was awarded entitling Mr H to a full reimbursement of his fees.
